Hi friends!

Some time ago, I split my mailing list off from my personal account to a pen name for the urban fantasy series, The Black Records. At the time, I’d asked those of you who wished to stay updated on my other projects to subscribe to a separate list, which is why you’re receiving this email now1.

The short version is that I have two new books coming out this Summer and Fall. Saber and Stone is the first book in a contemporary fantasy series about a magic school in the Pacific Northwest, and The Traveling Librarian is the beginning of a classic fantasy series about a young librarian traveling the far corners of his world in search of rare and dangerous books. I also have a few short stories and novellas drafted or in the works, which will be shared exclusively through this newsletter.

In order to get you up to speed on the new format of this newsletter and what to expect from me over the course of the next year, I’ve written up more detailed posts you can read here:

Other than titles already stated as being written and being prepped for publication, everything is subject to change at the whims of fates, gods known and unknown, and the general mood of my creative muse…

Say hello!

I’ve got lots of great content planned for the newsletter, but I also want to hear what you’d like to read. Is regular audio content something you’re eager to listen to? Do you want personal life updates? Writing advice? Interviews with other authors?

Drop a note in the comments if you have a request, or if you just want to say hello!

Until next time, thanks for reading, and see you among the stacks!
