There are a lot of ‘magic school’ book series out there now, but the vast majority of them seem to be very, very dark. I’ll be interested to see your take.
Not gonna lie, I read for fight scenes and a lot of the stuff you said isn't your favorite, but I like to mix it up too. I think I get what you mean about wanting something more low key sometimes.
